Heart Failure Cardiologist

Become a part of our organization’s Division of Cardiology as a Heart Failure Cardiologist, joining the only comprehensive DNV-certified advanced heart failure program in the region.

• Our program enjoys robust support from both the institution and the community, emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach.
• Work in close collaboration with a diverse team of advanced practice providers and specialists in areas such as cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery.
• Engage with a team that possesses extensive knowledge in cardiomyopathies, including hypertrophic and infiltrative disorders.
• Deliver pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing heart transplants and VAD procedures, in partnership with regional academic cardiac surgical centers in the Northeast.
• Contribute to a well-established and expanding program dedicated to offering innovative, patient-focused care for heart failure patients.

• Possession of an MD/DO or equivalent degree, with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• A clinically focused background with adequate research experience and teaching capabilities suitable for an academic role.
• Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
• Leadership skills and qualities are highly regarded.
• Excellent communication abilities, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care to heart failure patients and advancing the cardiology field.
• Capability to teach, mentor, and work alongside medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
• Eligibility for academic appointment and medical licensure in New York State.

We offer a competitive salary range with the potential for incentive bonuses, between $350,000 and $400,000.
