Interventional Cardiologist

Our organization is a Joint Commission accredited facility dedicated to serving Veterans in Mississippi and parts of Louisiana. Situated in Jackson, Mississippi, a city rich in southern heritage, Jackson boasts a vibrant community of talented painters, sculptors, dancers, actors, architects, photographers, filmmakers, musicians, and artisans across various fields. The city is alive with a diverse musical scene, featuring genres from classical to inspirational, gospel, blues, jazz, rock 'n roll, R&B, and more, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the area. The changing seasons bring a variety of traditional fall and holiday events, refreshing spring activities to welcome warmer weather, and relaxed summer gatherings that encourage a slower pace of life.

• Conduct inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultation services.
• Perform standard diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including temporary pacing and the implantation of permanent devices such as pacemakers, loop recorders, AICDs, and bi-ventricular devices.
• Execute direct current cardioversions and interpret electrocardiograms, Holter monitors, and ambulatory rhythm data.
• Act as academic faculty for the cardiovascular fellowship training program.
• Provide medical consultative services and conduct chart reviews for quality assurance and risk management purposes.

• Must be board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.

The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
