Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Radiology and X-ray Technologists possessing strong orthopedic imaging experience. This contract position provides a defined schedule and the chance to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a dedicated clinical environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 5:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Required participation in one on-call shift per month
- Holiday rotation for any holidays landing on regular workdays
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
- Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic imaging techniques
- Previous experience as a Radiology or X-ray Tech in an acute or busy hospital setting preferred
- Strong competency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality X-ray and orthopedic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Adhere to established protocols, patient safety guidelines, and radiation protection standards
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and timely patient care
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of each procedure, ensuring strict confidentiality
- Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients before, during, and after exams
- Participate in on-call shifts and contribute to holiday staffing as scheduled
- Support the smooth operation of the imaging department by managing workflow efficiently
