Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) | Nampa, Idaho

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Radiology and X-ray Technologists possessing strong orthopedic imaging experience. This contract position provides a defined schedule and the chance to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a dedicated clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 5:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Required participation in one on-call shift per month
• Holiday rotation for any holidays landing on regular workdays

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic imaging techniques
• Previous experience as a Radiology or X-ray Tech in an acute or busy hospital setting preferred
• Strong competency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray and orthopedic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Adhere to established protocols, patient safety guidelines, and radiation protection standards
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and timely patient care
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of each procedure, ensuring strict confidentiality
• Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients before, during, and after exams
• Participate in on-call shifts and contribute to holiday staffing as scheduled
• Support the smooth operation of the imaging department by managing workflow efficiently
