Job Description
Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students as a bilingual school psychologist in the Dallas area. This full-time contract role offers you the chance to make an impact across multiple schools, helping learners from early childhood through 12th grade thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll be part of a dedicated team working on-site—remote or virtual work is not available for this position.
What you bring:
- Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Fluency in Spanish and English (required)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings
- Expertise conducting comprehensive student evaluations
- Strong ability to communicate with students, staff, and families in both languages
- Commitment to attending and actively participating in ARD meetings
- Flexibility for an itinerant schedule serving students across various locations
Key responsibilities:
- Support a diverse caseload, focusing on early childhood (ages 3–5) through grade 12
- Complete thorough psychoeducational evaluations and generate clear, actionable reports
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention strategies
- Attend and contribute to ARD meetings, advocating for students’ needs
- Address a caseload of approximately 9 students per month
- Travel between multiple campuses as assigned
This assignment will begin in early August and continue through the academic year. All candidates must successfully complete fingerprinting through the Texas Education Agency if not recently cleared for another public school district; this process may take up to a week.
