Job Description
Step into a meaningful opportunity providing vital psychological services in school settings. As a full-time contracted professional, you’ll support students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being through evaluations and collaborative interventions. Two engaging placements are available—one position working with K-12 students alongside a psych assistant, and another at a different school location with grade level to be determined. Both roles offer the flexibility of hybrid or onsite work environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong background in psychoeducational assessment and report writing
- Comfortable leading or participating in ETR (Evaluation Team Report) meetings
- Collaborative spirit for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Solid communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Prepare and present detailed ETRs to school teams and families
- Participate in meetings to develop and update student plans (IEPs, 504s, interventions)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and supports
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health support as needed
- Collaborate with a psych assistant at the K-12 placement to maximize student outcomes
