Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active School Psychologist Certification
- Previous experience in a school setting
- Expertise working with elementary school-aged children (K-5)
- Solid understanding of child development, behavioral interventions, and counseling techniques
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic, social, and emotional challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student needs
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for student plans
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed for K-5 students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
