Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Active School Psychologist Certification
  • Previous experience in a school setting
  • Expertise working with elementary school-aged children (K-5)
  • Solid understanding of child development, behavioral interventions, and counseling techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student needs
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for student plans
  • Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed for K-5 students
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
