Clinical Responsibilities

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic kidney disease \n
- Manage hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and glomerular diseases \n
- Provide nephrology consultations for hospitalized and ambulatory patients \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medication management and dialysis care \n
- Coordinate care with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams \n
- Educate patients and families on kidney disease management and treatment options \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on nephrology care \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- MD or DO degree \n
- Completion of an accredited Nephrology Fellowship \n
- Board Certified in Nephrology (ABIM) \n
- Eligible for or currently holding an active Texas medical license \n
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-centered care skills \n
