Clinical Scope

Provide comprehensive endocrine care, including:

    Diabetes management

  • \n
  • \n

    Thyroid and parathyroid disorders

  • \n
  • \n

    Osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease

  • \n
  • \n

    Adrenal, pituitary, and reproductive hormone disorders

  • \n
  • \n

    Hormone testing and diagnostic evaluations

  • \n
  • \n

    Imaging interpretation, including ultrasound and MRI review

  • \n
  • \n

    Thyroid and endocrine biopsies

  • \n

Procedural Opportunities

Physicians may perform:

    Ultrasound-guided thyroid nodule biopsies

  • \n
  • \n

    Fine-needle aspiration biopsies

  • \n
  • \n

    Endocrine diagnostic procedures

  • \n

    Imaging review and interpretation

Call Coverage

    \n
  • \n

    Light hospital and practice call responsibilities

  • \n
  • \n

    Primarily phone-based consultations and medication management

  • \n
  • \n

    Rarely required to come into the hospital

  • \n
  • \n

    Hospital coverage through Holmes Regional Medical Center

  • \n
  • \n

    Common call topics include diabetes management, gestational diabetes, and routine endocrine concerns

  • \n
  • \n

    Minimal overnight emergencies

  • \n
  • \n

    Hospital and practice call covered concurrently

  • \n

Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology

  • \n
  • \n

    Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship

  • \n
  • \n

    Eligible for Florida medical licensure

  • \n
  • \n
