The successful candidate will be tasked with diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse array of cardiovascular conditions. This position prioritizes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on preventive cardiology, chronic disease management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Practice Environment
  • Well-equipped outpatient cardiovascular testing laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular issues, including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
  • Create and implement personalized care plans that focus on preventive cardiology and lifestyle changes.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and coordinated care.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide prompt and expert care for urgent cardiac situations.
  • Engage in patient education initiatives to promote heart health and disease prevention.
  • Maintain precise and thorough medical records in line with hospital policies.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Cardiology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.
  • Strong clinical expertise in managing various cardiovascular conditions.
