School Psychologist | Bear, Delaware

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential support within a welcoming educational environment. This full-time, onsite contract assignment involves working at both an elementary and middle school, with each site located conveniently close to the other—making for a smooth transition between locations. You’ll play a key role in supporting students and collaborating with a team of compassionate educators and administrators throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
• Master’s or specialist-level degree from an accredited school psychology program
• Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing intervention strategies with elementary and/or middle school populations
• Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently across two school sites, fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret data for eligibility and intervention purposes
• Support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding strategies to support student learning, behavior, and emotional well-being
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to collaborative planning for student success
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed

This role offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment with a consistent weekday schedule, 37.5 hours per week, from August through early June.
