Construction Safety Coordinator

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator for a top construction client. This individual will support day-to-day safety operations on active construction projects by conducting inspections, assisting with training efforts, maintaining compliance documentation, and helping identify and mitigate workplace hazards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating a safe working environment for all personnel.

Day-to-Day:

• Conduct employee safety orientations

• Assist with weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings

• Perform routine jobsite inspections

• Maintain safety documentation and training records

• Support accident and incident investigations

• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices

• Assist with implementation of project safety programs

• Coordinate minor injury response and transportation

• Report safety concerns and trends to project leadership

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of dedicated construction safety experience

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach Certification

• Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (within 2 years)

• Authority to stop work when safety concerns are identified

• Authority to implement corrective actions

• Experience supporting safety programs on active construction sites

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety requirements

• Competency in construction-related safety topics

Plusses:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Safety-Related Field

• Additional OSHA certifications

• Continued safety education and professional development

• Experience supporting large workforce construction projects
