Step into a vital school-based contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year, focusing on delivering impactful psychological services in an elementary and middle school setting. In this role, you'll provide direct support to students and assist in creating positive learning environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license required
  • Experience with both elementary (K-5) and middle school (6th-8th) student populations preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
  • Strong counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis response skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration with educators, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support IEP development and help ensure services are tailored to individual student needs
  • Deliver counseling and behavioral interventions to students in need
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to foster student success
  • Respond to and assist with crisis intervention and student safety planning to maintain a supportive school climate
  • Serve students at a single elementary or middle school building, with caseloads of roughly 25-35 elementary students and 20-30 middle school students

This contract spans the full 2026-2027 school year, starting August 31, 2026 and ending June 4, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. You’ll be placed at one site for the duration, allowing you to form meaningful relationships and see your efforts make a real difference.
