Die Finisher

Ambassador is excited to announce that we are seeking a Die Finisher for a client in Columbus, NC!!

Starting pay is $15.75/hr. - First Shift!!!

Principal Job Functions

Under minimal supervision and instruction, a Large Die Finisher –Sizer (WP-91; .0259 and Larger) will polish the bearing of parts (.0259 and larger) to a specific tolerance using the WP-91 machines.

Entry Requirements

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have successful scores on entrance tests.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand on concrete floors.

Essential Functions

1. Read and understand traveler and ISO instructions.

2. Set head on level.

3. Thread, load, and set proper tension of machine.

4. Read a hand mic for measuring die progress.

5. Clean and prepare sample wire for final measuring.

6. Save final size information in computer.

7. Prepare die for size audit.

8. Fill out production sheets.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Follow all Plant Rules and Safety Rules.

2. Check equipment for safe operation and report defective equipment to supervisor.

3. Clean and lubricate machines, as required.

4. Keep work area clean and neat.

5. Walk or stand on concrete floors for 8 to 12 hours per day.

6. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

7. Perform all other assigned duties as directed by the Supervisor.
