Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students with moderate to severe disabilities as a School Psychologist for the full 2026-2027 school year. In this contract position, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week and play a key role in fostering a supportive, inclusive educational environment. Collaborate with educators and families to understand student needs and develop strategies that promote academic and social success.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • State of Michigan licensure required
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to work with students across K-12 who have moderate to severe disabilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
  • Develop tailored intervention and support plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Provide direct counseling services to students as appropriate
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help formulate measurable goals for students
  • Advocate for students’ mental health and educational needs within the school system
  • Deliver training and consultative support to school staff on topics related to student mental health, learning differences, and crisis intervention
