School Psychologist - Huntington Station, New York

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Valid School Psychologist Certification
• Experience working within a school setting
• Knowledge of developmental, academic, and behavioral needs of elementary students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in grades K-5
• Interpret evaluation data and develop actionable recommendations
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of individualized education plans
• Provide individual and group counseling as needed
• Support the school’s multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and crisis response initiatives
