Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment and counseling skills
  • Ability to manage a multi-site caseload efficiently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop actionable recommendations
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to design and implement interventions
  • Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in RTI/MTSS processes and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with district policies
  • Serve as a resource for administrators, teachers, and families on student mental health and learning concerns

This role offers a contract commitment from the end of August through early June, following a traditional Monday through Friday schedule, with a 37.5-hour workweek. The proximity of the schools makes site transitions seamless, allowing you to focus on student support without excessive travel time.
