We are dedicated to delivering exceptional benefits and healthcare services to Veterans. Our organization is currently in search of a skilled Cardiologist to enhance our well-established program located in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Position Highlights:

• Work at a high-complexity VA Medical Center equipped with extensive resources serving central Indiana.
• Opportunity to develop the Cardiology imaging program; proficiency in interpreting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions, is preferred.
• Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with minimal on-call duties.
• Access to Clinical Pharmacists on-site.
• Be part of a high-quality, patient-centered team that includes Nurse Practitioners.
• Work in an advanced Cardiac center featuring Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery, and imaging facilities.
• Engage in a Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service, with opportunities for academic appointments.
• Experience life in the vibrant and affordable city of Indianapolis.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
• Possession of a current, unrestricted medical or surgical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Salary: Competitive pay, annual performance bonuses, and regular salary increases.
• Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off annually, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and up to 5 days for CME. Eligible for up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
• Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and a federal 401K with contributions of up to 5% from the organization.
