School Psychologist
Location: Spanaway, Washington

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success of students in the Spanaway, WA community. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create positive learning environments where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
Interpret assessment results and prepare written reports.
Participate in eligibility meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning and behavioral needs.
Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans and evidence-based strategies.
Support crisis intervention and threat assessment efforts as needed.
Monitor student progress and recommend appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with special education staff, counselors, social workers, and related service providers.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) School Psychologist Certification (or eligibility to obtain prior to employment).
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, MTSS, and special education processes.
Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a K–12 school setting.
Experience with behavioral assessments and intervention planning.
Familiarity with culturally responsive assessment practices.
