School Psychologist in East Bernard, TX

Step into a rewarding opportunity working as a school psychologist in a contract-to-hire position with full-time hours for the 2026-2027 academic year. This dynamic role focuses on supporting students’ learning and behavioral needs, with a special emphasis on assessments and evaluations. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and is conveniently located near East Bernard, TX.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current Texas licensure or certification as a school psychologist
• Experience conducting AU Autism and EU Educational assessments strongly preferred
• Understanding of special education processes and legal requirements
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret 66 Autism (AU) evaluations and 19 Educational (EU) assessments over the academic year
• Participate in eligibility meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and recommend appropriate interventions and supports based on assessment outcomes
• Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to facilitate student success
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with all state and federal policies
