\nJob Summary and Qualifications \n\nAssists in providing safe and effective nursing care as the O.R. RN during surgical and other invasive procedures through the performance of specific duties under the direction of the Director/Manager.
\nService Line Coordination Responsibilities (when applicable):
\nThe expert practice of the Operating Room Service Line Coordinator is essential in ensuring safe patient outcomes, completion of the daily operating room schedule, and physician/ employee satisfaction.
\n\nResponsibilities of Specialty Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following as related to the surgical specialty:
\n\n1. Maintains expert knowledge of service specialty (procedures, equipment, supplies, surgeon preference).
\n2. Establishes / Maintains direct, collaborative, working relationship with Specialty Surgeons.
\n\n3. Provides new hire orientation to service specialty.
\n4. Pursues continuing education regarding specialty procedures/supplies/equipment.
\n5. Provides continuing education regarding specialty procedures/supplies/equipment.
\n6. Maintains accurate preference cards.
\n7. Ensures specialty instrument sets are complete and maintained in good working condition.
\n8. Established collaborative relationships within Surgical Services (Supply Chain, OR Clinician, SPD) to meet the demands of continuously evolving services, procedures, equipment use, and instrument car
\n\nWhat qualifications you will need:

- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date \n
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date \n
- (RN) Registered Nurse \n
- Minimum one (1) year O.R. experience preferred \n
