Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery
- Preferred fellowship training in spine surgery
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Capability to handle a high volume of surgical cases and complex spine procedures
- Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
- Authorized to work in the United States
Key Responsibilities
Your typical day may involve:
- Conducting spine surgeries at Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital (103-bed facility) and Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital (537-bed, Level I trauma center)
- Engaging in multidisciplinary care for intricate neurosurgical and spine patients
- Collaborating with physician assistants, registered nurses, and other support staff to ensure exceptional patient care
- Utilizing cutting-edge technology such as O-Arm, Leica microscopes, stealth navigation, and CyberKnife
- Participating in quality improvement projects and clinical trials related to spine devices
- Fostering a culture of teamwork and mentorship within the neurosurgery department

Practice Support:
- 5 Physician Assistants handle first call
- 3 Registered Nurses assist with patient inquiries and wound care
- Projected surgical cases: 150 in the first year, approximately 300 once fully established
