AtlantiCare-a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient and the largest healthcare system in southeastern New Jersey-invites applications for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Colorectal Surgeon to join our growing surgical team within AtlantiCare Physician Group Surgical Associates.

Position Overview
\n The AtlantiCare Health System is recruiting a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to provide expert care to patients in southeastern New Jersey. A successful candidate will have both excellent foundation of operative and clinical skills and a collaborative approach to patient care. AtlantiCare is a multifaceted health system with approximately 625 hospital beds across two hospital locations in addition to multiple ambulatory surgery/endoscopy centers and multidisciplinary clinics.

This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and comprehensive colorectal surgery practice, now able to deploy the breadth of colorectal surgery to underserved patients in southeastern New Jersey. The candidate would join a well-established team that includes surgical oncology, general surgery, and bariatric surgery supporting a 1:7 call schedule. Our colorectal department works closely with the Committee on Cancer accredited AtlantiCare Cancer Center for robust, multi-disciplinary care of patients with colon, rectal, and anal cancer.   Access to ambulatory surgery center for high volume anorectal and endoscopy

  Significant opportunity for growth in multidisciplinary IBD care and treating pelvic floor pathology

  Teaching opportunity with rotating general surgery residents (PGY1 though PGY5) as well as medical students on elective rotations

  Dedicated colorectal APP support for inpatient, outpatient, and operative services
