Job Description
Overview: We invite you to become part of a dedicated team comprising 10 cardiologists and 9 advanced practice providers (APPs) within a stable, independent community hospital system that caters to the entire Berkshire County. Our organization boasts a robust cardiology practice and a teaching service. We are seeking professionals who can deliver both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as those who prefer to focus exclusively on either setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care.
- Collaborate with APPs, registered nurses (RNs), and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to practice at the highest level of your expertise.
- Engage in collegial relationships with hospitalists, emergency room staff, and intensivists.
- Participate in teaching, clinical research, and leadership initiatives.
- Potential for academic appointments may be available.
- Utilize our Diagnostic Catheterization Lab and full-service Electrophysiology Lab.
- Conduct cardiac imaging, including cardiac CTA and cardiac MRI.
- Manage outpatient services across three locations, with inpatient consultations primarily at one site.
