Position Highlights:- Work at a high-complexity VA Medical Center equipped with extensive resources serving central Indiana.
- Opportunity to develop the Cardiology imaging program; proficiency in interpreting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions, is preferred.
- Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with minimal on-call duties.
- Access to Clinical Pharmacists on-site.
- Be part of a high-quality, patient-centered team that includes Nurse Practitioners.
- Work in an advanced Cardiac center featuring Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery, and imaging facilities.
- Engage in a Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service, with opportunities for academic appointments.
- Experience life in the vibrant and affordable city of Indianapolis.
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
- Possession of a current, unrestricted medical or surgical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- Salary: Competitive pay, annual performance bonuses, and regular salary increases.
- Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off annually, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and up to 5 days for CME. Eligible for up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
