School Psychologist - Middletown, OH

Make a meaningful impact by providing essential psychological services to students in a supportive educational environment. As a contract School Psychologist, you’ll work closely with educators, families, and other professionals to help students achieve their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations in a school setting
• Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies for students
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working with students, teachers, and parents
• Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant educational regulations
• Compassionate approach, with attention to confidentiality and ethical practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
• Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in eligibility determination meetings
• Design, recommend, and help implement appropriate interventions and behavior management plans
• Provide consultation and support to educators and parents regarding students’ academic and emotional needs
• Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as required
• Maintain thorough, confidential records in compliance with district policy and state law
• Support the development of IEPs and 504 plans
