OB/GYN Physician
Job Description
The physician plays a vital role within the healthcare team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver comprehensive medical services to patients. Each physician's scope of practice is determined by the credentialing and privileging committee of the health system.
This position involves supporting individual objectives, budgetary goals, and performance metrics.
The physician is responsible for all medical activities at the individual level, which includes the implementation of quality control standards, risk management, and compliance initiatives. The primary focus is to provide timely and quality clinical care to patients who have chosen our organization.
Education- A Doctorate from an accredited medical school is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of medical/surgical experience is required.
- Must be licensed to practice medicine by the Virginia Department of Health Professions.

- Being capable of performing Basic Life Support components as necessary.
The physician will work in a well-lit and ventilated office or clinical setting, which may involve frequent interruptions and long hours, including changing shifts. There may be occasions requiring work beyond standard hours, such as overtime or being on call.
Routine exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, hazardous chemicals, and other potential risks is expected. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided for instances of exposure to blood and infectious processes. Interaction with patients, family members, coworkers, and visitors may occur under various conditions, including those that are emotionally charged or challenging.

Compensation RangeThe annual compensation for this position ranges from $250,000.00 to $552,240.00. In addition to the base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage (subject to eligibility), along with wellness and retirement benefits aimed at supporting our employees and their families.

The stated compensation range is a good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum salary for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on specialty, education, training, skills, experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications. This range may be adjusted in the future based on business needs or market changes. Compensation is only considered earned once vested and determined according to applicable policies and benefit plans. The availability and amount of bonuses, incentives, or other benefits are subject to the terms of those plans and may be modified at the organization's discretion, in compliance with applicable law.
