Job Description
We are currently in search of a Board Certified Cardiologist with specialized training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology to become part of our collaborative, physician-led team serving Oregon and Southwest Washington.
This is a unique chance to engage in advanced heart failure management, mechanical circulatory support (MCS), transplant cardiology, shock treatment, and general cardiology within a team that truly enjoys working together to provide exceptional patient care. You will be joining a supportive network of 24 cardiologists along with a dedicated advanced heart failure team in one of the most exciting regions of the country, where mountains, rivers, forests, coastlines, biking trails, culinary delights, and outdoor activities await year-round.
Why This Position is Exceptional- Become part of an advanced heart failure team that includes four board-certified cardiologists specializing in heart failure, LVAD coordinators, a transplant coordinator, and a social worker.
- Collaborate with experts in cardiothoracic surgery, structural and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and pulmonary critical care.
- Contribute to the growth of a well-established LVAD program at Sunnyside Medical Center, one of only two LVAD programs within our system.
- Care for transplant patients through an integrated approach with our National Transplant Services and recognized external Centers of Excellence.
- Engage in cath lab procedures, including right heart catheterization with vasoreactivity challenge and endomyocardial biopsies, with optional transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) coverage.
- Experience a balanced call schedule for advanced heart failure and inpatient rotations, with night calls limited to advanced heart failure cases.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
- A comprehensive total rewards package ranging from $587,600 to $702,400.
- Base salary between $501,100 and $538,800.
- A generous $50,000 hiring bonus and $15,000 relocation assistance.
