Environmental Asbestos Professional

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time environmental consulting position to perform office and field work associated with asbestos site assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience performing asbestos site assessments

• 2+ years of relevant Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) experience

• Strong teamwork and effective internal and external communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance

• Ability to work in variable field conditions, including uneven terrain and remote locations

• Ability to routinely lift 10-50 pounds

• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field data collection for environmental investigations

• Collect and compile environmental samples (soil, water, and other materials) for laboratory analysis

• Document field activities in accordance with project plans and applicable standards

• Coordinate laboratory sample submittals and maintain chain of custody documentation

• Interpret analytical results and compare findings to applicable regulatory standards

• Prepare technical sections of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations

• Collaborate with project teams to support environmental consulting projects
