Northwest Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Cardiothoracic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join its high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU team in Tucson, Arizona. This is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity within a premier, busy multispecialty group, offering robust clinical support and the ability to manage complex post-operative cardiothoracic surgical patients.

Schedule: Full-time, 7 AM – 7 PM, 7-on / 7-off block scheduling (Day Shift). (PRN considerations may also be available).

Clinical Focus: 100% inpatient, ICU-based role dedicated to the post-operative management of open-heart and lung surgery patients.

Key Responsibilities: Managing post-surgical recovery, performing ICU bedside procedures, reviewing pre-operative labs/imaging, and executing comprehensive discharge management.

Environment: A highly collaborative, sophisticated, and fast-paced multispecialty ICU team.

Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
\n - \n
Must have dedicated, prior ICU experience (Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular ICU experience highly preferred).

Active Arizona state nursing license or the immediate ability to obtain one.
