Job Opportunity Overview

Our organization is actively looking to recruit a full-time cardiac electrophysiologist to enhance our Heart and Vascular team, which currently consists of 18 cardiologists, 2 electrophysiologists, and 5 advanced practice clinicians. As the largest multi-specialty group in the East Bay region of San Francisco, we are proud to have over 400 healthcare providers dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our communities.

Our innovative Heart and Vascular program offers a wide range of services, from basic preventative and general cardiology to specialized treatments, including complex coronary interventions, structural heart and valvular procedures, electrophysiology, comprehensive cardiac imaging, advanced heart failure management, and clinical research across four hospitals and numerous outpatient clinics. Our electrophysiology program is comprehensive, performing both routine and advanced cardiac ablations, including pulse field ablation and epicardial procedures with and without mechanical support. We also handle various CIED implants, leadless devices, CIED lead extractions, and left atrial appendage occlusions. Additionally, we are involved in multiple clinical trials focusing on PFA, thermal and surgical hybrid atrial fibrillation ablation, VT ablation, and CIED diagnostics and implants. As we continue to expand our services to better serve the East Bay community and beyond, we are in need of a dedicated cardiac electrophysiologist to support our growth and uphold our mission of prioritizing patients and people.

Our Cardiac Electrophysiology laboratory is located at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, CA, which serves as the tertiary referral center for cardiac care in the East Bay region. The facility features two EP laboratories, including a hybrid OR suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiac electrophysiology services.
• Perform advanced cardiac ablations and manage CIED devices.
• Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted California Medical License.
• Active and unrestricted cardiac fluoroscopy license.
• Current DEA license.

Working Conditions

• Flexible work schedule with options for a 4 or 5-day work week.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between USD $537,722 and USD $625,261 annually. This range represents the base compensation for full-time clinicians and does not account for additional incentives and benefits. The base salary may be adjusted based on factors such as training, experience, community needs, and other relevant considerations.
