Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students near Central Point, OR, as a School Psychologist. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week and spans two school sites, one serving K-3rd grade and the other K-5th grade. The assignment begins September 2nd and is open to a hybrid format, offering flexibility in your work environment.

You’ll play a vital role in both general and higher-needs settings. One location features a MAP class and a higher-needs classroom, providing a dynamic, supportive environment to apply your skills. Your expertise will guide teams through evaluations, FBAs, and behavior plan development, directly impacting students’ success.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid and current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5th preferred)
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations (cognitive, behavioral, academic)
  • Knowledge and experience with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and behavior plan implementation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable adapting services across both traditional and higher-needs classrooms
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment if required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement FBAs and individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Support MAP and higher-needs classes through observation, coaching, and consultation
  • Collaborate with educators, aides, and families to support student growth and well-being
  • Document and report on student progress and recommendations
  • Travel between two sites as needed
