AMN Healthcare has been retained to identify a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology/Oncology to join a highly collaborative outpatient oncology program in Chicago, Illinois.

This is an exceptional opportunity to deliver patient-centered cancer care within a supportive, team-based environment focused on mentorship, innovation, and clinical excellence.

Position Highlights\n

\n
• Predominantly outpatient oncology setting
\n
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model
\n
• Manageable patient volume (approx. 5–7 patients/day)
\n
• Strong emphasis on training, mentorship, and professional growth
\n

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
\n
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
\n
• Develop and manage treatment plans for hematology/oncology patients
\n
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans
\n
• Educate patients and families on treatment and supportive care
\n
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care
\n

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP program)
\n
• Active Illinois NP license (or eligibility)
\n
• 2+ years of Hematology/Oncology experience required
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
\n
• Oncology experience highly preferred
\n
• No visa sponsorship available
\n
