As a Diesel Apprentice, you will thrive in a dynamic environment while ensuring cleanliness and friendliness. You will engage with customers and drivers from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their travel experiences. If you have a knack for mechanics but lack professional experience, don’t worry—we’re here to train you!

In the apprentice program, you will learn:

  • Electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • Diagnostics and repairs for air conditioning and heating systems
  • Wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs
  • Air system diagnostics and repairs
  • Diagnostics and repairs for air brakes
  • Charging system diagnostics and repairs
  • Basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement
  • Parts lookup and procurement

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with roadside assistance
  • Learn and perform preventative maintenance services
  • Ability to lift and move over 75 pounds while working in confined spaces
  • Adapt to various temperature conditions
  • Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction by adhering to company safety protocols
  • Work on a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts as required
  • Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (cost covered by the organization)
