Location: Placerville, CA 95667
Schedule: Per Diem / As Needed
Pay: $25–$33/hour (based on experience)
About the Opportunity
ProCare Therapy is seeking reliable and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Technicians, and Paraprofessionals to provide substitute coverage for a supportive school district in Placerville, California. This per diem opportunity is ideal for professionals looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact supporting students with behavioral and educational needs.
Responsibilities
Provide designated student support during staff call-outs and short-term coverage needs.
Implement behavior support strategies and classroom interventions.
Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
Promote a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
Maintain professionalism and accurate documentation as required by the district.
Qualifications
Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification with a valid Blue Card required.
RBT certification preferred for RBT positions.
Previous experience working with students in a school or behavioral setting preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to different school environments and student needs.
