Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with electronic medical records a plus
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse team dynamics
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in PCU and Stepdown environments
- Monitor and document patient status, anticipate changes, and respond efficiently to emergencies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to create and implement individual care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatments and recovery processes
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards within the unit
