Job Description
Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized respiratory treatments and interventions, including ventilator management and weaning, to support optimal patient breathing and recovery.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, skilled nurses, physical therapists, cardiologists, and pulmonologists to coordinate individualized care plans.
- Monitoring patients with chronic conditions such as COPD, chronic bronchitis, and other cardiopulmonary diseases, adjusting therapy as needed based on clinical findings and physician directives.
- Conducting patient assessments, evaluating cardiopulmonary function, and documenting progress to ensure continuity of care.
- Educating patients and their families about treatment protocols, home care strategies, and recovery expectations.
- Assisting in rehabilitation efforts aimed at reducing symptoms, improving mobility, and achieving patient-centered recovery goals.
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Experience in acute or long-term care settings, particularly with ventilator-dependent or high-acuity patients preferred.
- Proficiency with respiratory therapy equipment and treatment protocols.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- The ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
