Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials required
- Proven experience in acute care, with a strong understanding of chronic disease management (COPD, chronic bronchitis, and similar conditions)
- Ventilator management and weaning proficiency
- Familiarity with cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and advanced respiratory care techniques
- Effective communication and collaborative skills
- Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
Schedule:
- Contract assignment (specific schedule details to be discussed during interview process)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized respiratory therapy for patients with chronic and acute pulmonary conditions
- Initiate and manage ventilator support, including weaning protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, skilled nursing staff, cardiologists, and pulmonologists to create and adapt individualized care plans
- Execute daily assessments and monitor patient progress, adjusting respiratory interventions as necessary
- Provide education to patients and families about respiratory care and rehabilitation
- Document all treatments, responses, and progress accurately and in accordance with facility protocols
