Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a full-time school psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This contract position is based onsite, offering a dynamic environment where your expertise will be valued and your impact felt every day. The role spans 40 hours weekly, beginning in early August 2026 and concluding at the end of May 2027.
Your time will be thoughtfully split between conducting PreK evaluations and working within an elementary school setting. This allows for variety in your daily responsibilities and the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of young learners, families, and educational teams.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience with PreK evaluations and elementary school populations is highly regarded
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Solid understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and multi-disciplinary collaboration
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive PreK evaluations as part of the early childhood team
- Provide psychological services, including assessment, intervention, and consultation for elementary school students
- Develop and interpret evaluation reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal educational guidelines
