\nAtlantiCare is building a subspecialty critical care program that integrates cardiac and neurocritical care under one unified, high-performance team.
\nWe are recruiting intensivists in both specialties to join a collaborative, mission-driven, and academically focused environment. You'll practice at the top of your license in a system equipped with advanced mechanical circulatory support, world-class neurosurgical collaboration, and a brand-new neuroscience ICU currently under construction.

\nWhat We Do
\nOur subspecialty ICU team manages both cardiac and neurocritical care patients across two campuses:
\nMainland Campus (Pomona, NJ) - Home to our Heart & Vascular Institute, with ECMO, cardiac surgery, advanced heart failure care, and a robust Impella program
\nAtlantic City Campus - Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, featuring our neuroscience ICU and partnership with the Global Neurosciences Institute (GNI)
\nWe Provide:
\nComprehensive ECMO support (VA, VV, VPA)
\nAdvanced mechanical circulatory devices: Impella CP, 5.5, RP Flex, and Protek Duo RVAD
\nNeurocritical care for stroke, aneurysms, status epilepticus, and neurosurgical ICU cases
\nA multidisciplinary ICU culture grounded in protocols, escalation discipline, and bedside leadership
\nDedicated support for innovation, clinical trials, and research in shock and neurocritical care
\nKey Responsibilities
\nDeliver high-quality critical care for complex cardiac and neurological patients
\nManage advanced support devices like ECMO and Impella, and treat acute neuro emergencies
\nCollaborate with cardiology, neurosurgery, and ICU teams across both campuses
\nParticipate in quality improvement and hospital committee initiatives
\nStay current with critical care advancements through ongoing education
\nProvide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care
\nTeach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students
\nContribute to peer review and uphold clinical standards

\nRegular simulation, case reviews, and CME content creation (VuMedi, podcast, and conferences)
\nWho We're Looking For
\nWe're hiring for both cardiac and neurocritical care intensivists. The ideal candidate will:
\nBe BC/BE in Critical Care (Anesthesia, Pulm/CCM, or IM-CCM)
\nHave 1-2 years of post-training experience (exceptional final-year fellows considered)
\nHave experience (or interest in training) with:
\nPA catheter placement and interpretation
\nTVP insertion
\nManagement of ICP and neuroemergencies
\nThrive in a multidisciplinary, high-acuity environment
\nBe eager to help shape a program - not just work in one
