Job Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM; Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM; totaling 4.5 days per week.
  • On-call Duties: Pager call from Monday to Friday, 5 PM to 8 AM; 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 8 AM.
  • Clinic Patient Load: Manage an average of 20 patients per day.
  • Well Baby Nursery: Average census of 1 to 5; Pediatric floor: 0 to 3; Emergency Room consultations: 1 to 3 per day.
  • Procedures: Involvement in nursery level 1, deliveries, intubation, BiPAP/CPAP, and circumcisions.
Qualifications
  • Current NRP and PALS certifications are mandatory.
  • 30-minute response time for calls is required.
  • Block scheduling is necessary, with a minimum commitment of 1 week per month.
