POSITION OVERVIEW:

Pediatric Nurses provide care for patients ranging from infants to young adults. Their responsibilities include conducting developmental screenings, administering immunizations, and treating common ailments such as chickenpox and tonsillitis. Collaborating closely with family doctors, pediatricians, and fellow nurses, they deliver both preventive and critical care. In this role, you will also educate parents and family members on preventing childhood illnesses and promoting proper nutrition for healthy growth and development.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a minimum of one year of recent experience in pediatrics. A South Carolina State Healthcare Provider license is required, or candidates must be willing to obtain one.


Required Certifications:

This role may necessitate one or more of the following certifications: BLS, PALS.
