Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled X-Ray Technologist with radiology experience. This vital role supports a high-volume hospital environment and plays a key part in delivering advanced diagnostic imaging services. The assignment is part time, beginning August 17, 2026, and concluding November 14, 2026.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Every other weekend required
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 7.5 hours per day

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Valid NJ State RT License
  • ARRT certified
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in the field
  • 1–3 years’ proven experience as an X-Ray Technician
  • Proficiency with GE imaging equipment
  • Confident performing in the operating room
  • Experience in high-capacity hospital settings (900 beds or more) and demonstrated ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality imaging and treatment procedures as outlined by state, federal, and professional standards
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and care of patients prior to, during, and after imaging procedures
  • Skillfully maintain and operate a range of imaging equipment, including troubleshooting and routine care
  • Monitor and adapt procedures as needed, and coordinate daily imaging tasks
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedural records
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, possessing solid communication and analytical skills
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned
