Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a specialized imaging role that focuses on maternal fetal medicine and high-risk obstetric cases. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer with a passion for providing exceptional prenatal care to diverse patient populations, including twins, triplets, and cases involving fetal anomalies. The environment is supportive, well-equipped with GE E10 and Expert 22 machines, and prioritizes both quality imaging and patient safety.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Standard weekday schedule—no weekends or holidays
  • No floating to other departments

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1–2 years of dedicated OB/MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) experience within the last 2 years is required
  • Proven proficiency in MFM sonography, particularly scanning nuchal translucencies
  • BLS certification from AHA is mandatory
  • ARDMS certification in Obstetrics is required; NT certification is preferred but not required
  • Comfortable following AIUM guidelines for Level II ultrasounds and detailed first and second trimester screenings
  • Experience supporting amniocentesis and CVS procedures
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 10–12 patients per day (mix of outpatient and inpatient)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-risk obstetric and MFM ultrasound scans using GE E10 and Expert 22 machines
  • Follow established protocols for first and second trimester screenings, including nuchal translucency assessments
  • Collaborate with a team of 10–14 sonographers in alignment with AIUM and facility standards
  • Document and review images using GE Viewpoint software
  • Participate in initial floor orientation (maximum of 5 days)
  • Wear black scrubs as part of required attire
