ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Gaffney, South Carolina to hire a motivated School Psychologist for a full-time, onsite position. This role focuses on supporting an elementary student population through evaluations, assessments, and collaboration with educational teams to ensure students receive the services and support they need to thrive.

Position Overview
Full-time position
37.5 hours per week
Elementary caseload
Onsite for the school year
Supportive special education team and district staff
Key Duties
Complete psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services
Administer, score, and interpret a variety of assessment tools
Develop written reports and communicate findings to families and school personnel
Attend eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Consult with teachers and staff regarding student academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
Assist in identifying appropriate interventions and support strategies
Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
Qualifications
Active South Carolina School Psychologist license required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong assessment and report-writing skills
Knowledge of special education procedures and evaluation processes
Ability to effectively collaborate with families, educators, and support staff
