Take your school psychology expertise to the next level in a dynamic educational environment near Irving, TX! This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to make a deep impact as a bilingual School Psychologist/Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, supporting students from Early Childhood through 12th grade. Your work will be vital in evaluating students, attending ARD meetings, and collaborating across multiple school sites with a manageable caseload of approximately 9 students per month.
Your ability to communicate compassionately in both Spanish and English will ensure all students and families feel heard, valued, and understood. By shifting between campuses, you'll bring your specialized skills to diverse educational settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential (Board of Examiners of Psychologist)
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (required)
- Previous school-based psychology experience
- Comfortable working with students ranging from preschool-aged to high school seniors
- Capacity to adapt and support different school communities as an itinerant staff member
- Must complete TEA fingerprint clearance if not done within another TX district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer timely, thorough evaluations for students aged 3-18
- Prepare and present assessment results at ARD meetings
- Work collaboratively with staff and families to develop individualized education plans
- Support a caseload of approximately 9 students per month
- Serve as a resource for mental health and behavioral interventions across multiple schools
