Quick Facts: Location: Pueblo, CO – 400 West 16th Street Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent Shift: 2 days in clinic, 2 days in OR, 1 flex day per week Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent License/Certifications: Board-Eligible/Board Certified Neurosurgeon (ABNS) Experience: Recent graduates or experienced candidates accepted; must be TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years Pay & Benefits: Salary Range: $800,000 – $877,000 annually Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: Rate may be placeholder; salary reflects comprehensive compensation) Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage Retirement plan options Paid malpractice, PTO, sick leave, and holidays CME allowance Paid relocation (if eligible) Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) qualifying employer Wellness and assistance programs Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide general neurosurgical care in inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings Manage post-surgical follow-up and routine patient visits Oversee and review imaging, including ER cases, from home Participate in ER call coverage (7 days/month) with minimal in-person response Collaborate with an experienced team of neurosurgeons and APPs Build and expand an elective spine practice in a community with high need Utilize neuro-navigation tools like Globus Robot and Stryker systems Document care efficiently using EPIC EMR What You Need: Active or eligible Colorado medical license Board-eligible or certified in neurosurgery (ABNS) Ability to meet start date by ASAP Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work in a diverse, community-oriented environment About the Assignment: You will join a well-established neurosurgery team in Pueblo, Colorado, a vibrant city offering a rich community atmosphere and access to outdoor recreation. The practice features a Level 3 trauma center and on-site advanced neuro-navigation, supporting an expanding elective spine program.
