Become a part of our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Santa Rosa, CA, as a Physician specializing in Primary Care!
The Physician will function as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) within any Community Based Outpatient Clinic, which operates under a Patient Aligned Care Team Model. Collaborating with a team that includes a PCP, RN, LVN, and a Clerk, the PCP will manage a patient panel of approximately [insert number] individuals. In this team-oriented environment, the PCP will deliver primary care services, focusing on chronic disease management and preventive health. Common conditions treated include diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, and chronic pain.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and consultations for non-surgical adult patients across all age groups, addressing a variety of diseases, injuries, and disorders without life-threatening complications.
Assess and stabilize patients with urgent conditions, determining their care pathway in accordance with medical staff policies regarding emergency and consultative services.
Work collaboratively with and supervise mid-level providers, such as nurse practitioners, while coordinating with various specialties (and subspecialties) both within and outside the VA system to manage or co-manage patient health.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Benefits and Features:
Salary Range: Expected between $285K and $315K (negotiable based on qualifications, credentials, and experience).

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding Federal Government holidays.
Compensation: Competitive salary, annual performance bonuses, and regular salary increases.
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid leave annually, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and potentially 5 days of paid absence for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Retirement Benefits: Traditional federal pension (with a 5-year vesting period) and a federal 401K with contributions of up to 5% from the organization.
Insurance Coverage: Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance (many federal programs can be continued into retirement).
Licensure: Must possess one full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory.
CME Reimbursement: Up to $1,000 per year (must be full-time and board certified).
Malpractice Coverage: Liability protection provided at no cost, including tail coverage.
Contractual Terms: No Physician Employment Contract and minimal restrictions on moonlighting.
