Working primarily from a home base at SELF School and traveling to various sites throughout the county, you’ll experience both variety and the opportunity to collaborate with a wide network of educators and specialists. This contract role requires seven hours of work per day, typically between 7:45 AM and 3:15 PM. The caseload will vary based on district needs, offering diversity in daily responsibilities and student populations. Two positions are currently available for the 2026-2027 school year.

Desired Background:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (State of Indiana)
• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Experience within school settings preferred
• Knowledge of assessment tools, special education eligibility, and behavioral interventions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple locations and changing caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
• Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development
• Participate in IEP, 504, and problem-solving teams
• Deliver crisis intervention and mental health services where needed
• Consult with staff regarding classroom strategies and accommodations
