Gastroenterologist Is Wanted for Locums Assistance in Pennsylvania

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM, with on-call duties from 5 PM to 7 AM on weekdays.
• Patient Load: Expect to see 10 to 15 patients in the clinic on full days, and perform 8 to 10 procedures on designated procedure days.
• Coverage: Responsibilities include both outpatient clinic and inpatient care, with a call rotation of 1:5.
• Call Response: A 20-minute response time is required for calls.
• Appointment Slots: Allocate 45 minutes for new patient appointments and 20 minutes for follow-ups.
• Procedures: Standard endoscopic procedures include EGDs, colonoscopies, and PEG tube placements.
• Schedule Structure: Clinic and procedure days are separate, minimizing overlap during call weeks.
• Compensation: We negotiate competitive pay, which is deposited weekly.
