Now Hiring: Bilingual School Psychologist – Illinois

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Bilingual School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Illinois for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity serving a Kindergarten through 5th grade caseload. Position Details

  • Position: Bilingual School Psychologist
  • Caseload: Kindergarten through 5th Grade (K-5)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct bilingual psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments for elementary-aged students
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare compliant evaluation reports
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student achievement
  • Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
  • Ensure culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment practices are implemented throughout the evaluation process
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and federal special education regulations

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
  • Bilingual proficiency is required (Spanish-English preferred unless otherwise specified by the district)
  • Master's, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Ability to obtain all required employment clearances before the start of the assignment
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
